At WOREDOX, many of our pieces are individually produced, made-to-order, made-to-measure, personalized, or specially commissioned for each client. Due to the time, materials, craftsmanship, and production resources committed to each order, our policies differ from those of conventional ready-to-wear retailers.

By placing an order with WOREDOX, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. 70% Advance Payment

A 70% advance payment is required to confirm each made-to-order, custom, or commissioned order and begin production.

The remaining 30% balance must be paid before the finished product is released for shipment, unless WOREDOX agrees otherwise in writing.

Production will not begin until the required advance payment has been successfully received and all necessary order specifications have been confirmed.

For custom products, this may include measurements, design, size, color, materials, embroidery, personalization, or other specifications.

2. Advance Payments & Customer Cancellations

Once an order has been confirmed and production has commenced, the 70% advance payment is non-refundable in the event of a customer-requested cancellation, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

This policy exists because materials may be purchased or allocated and production capacity, design work, tailoring, embroidery, or other resources may be committed specifically to the client’s order.

Customers should carefully review all specifications before approving an order.

3. No Returns or Exchanges for Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Because custom, personalized, made-to-measure, and made-to-order products are produced specifically for the individual customer:

All such sales are final once produced, and WOREDOX does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect customer-provided measurements, preference changes, or other customer-requested changes after production, except where required by applicable law or expressly provided in this policy.

4. Production Time

WOREDOX products are not mass-produced inventory.

Customers should expect an estimated production period of approximately 8–10 weeks for many made-to-order products.

More complex custom commissions may require additional time.

The specific estimated production and shipment timeframe applicable to an order will be communicated before or at the time the order is accepted.

Production time and shipping/transit time are separate.

Because handcrafted and customized production may involve multiple stages, minor variations in completion time may occur.

5. Production Delays

WOREDOX will make reasonable efforts to ship orders within the timeframe communicated to the customer.

If we determine that we cannot ship an order within the promised timeframe, we will notify the customer and provide an updated estimated shipment date where available.

Where applicable law gives the customer the right to choose between accepting the delay and canceling for a refund, WOREDOX will honor that right. The FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule requires online sellers who cannot meet their promised shipment time to provide the applicable delay/cancellation options.

Accordingly, our non-refundable advance-payment provision does not override any refund or cancellation right required by applicable law.

6. Custom Design Approval

For custom commissions, customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving the agreed specifications before production.

Once approved and production has begun, requested changes may not be possible.

If WOREDOX agrees to make a change after production has started, additional charges and additional production time may apply.

7. Made-to-Measure Products

Customers ordering made-to-measure garments are responsible for providing accurate measurements according to WOREDOX’s measurement instructions.

WOREDOX is not responsible for fit issues resulting from measurements that were incorrectly provided by the customer.

Because made-to-measure garments are produced according to individual specifications, they generally cannot be returned or exchanged for sizing preference or change of mind, except where required by law.

8. Handmade & Craft Variations

Certain WOREDOX pieces may involve handmade, hand-finished, embroidered, woven, dyed, leather, or other artisanal processes.

As a result, minor variations in pattern placement, texture, shade, stitching, finishing, or other characteristics may occur.

Such natural production variations do not automatically constitute a defect.

9. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

The no-return policy does not mean customers should accept an incorrect or materially defective product.

If an item arrives damaged, materially defective, or materially different from the confirmed order specifications, contact WOREDOX promptly after delivery.

Please provide:

Order number • Description of the issue • Clear photographs/videos • Packaging photographs where relevant

We will review the claim and determine the appropriate remedy based on the circumstances and applicable law.

Customers should not return products without first receiving return authorization from WOREDOX.

10. Remaining 30% Balance

When an order is completed, WOREDOX may notify the customer that the remaining 30% balance is due.

The finished product will not normally be shipped until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.

Any applicable shipping, insurance, taxes, duties, customization charges, or other amounts disclosed during the ordering process must also be paid when due.

11. Refused or Abandoned Custom Orders

Failure to pay the remaining balance does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of the advance payment.

Where legally permitted, WOREDOX may retain amounts applicable to committed materials, production, customization, labor, and other costs associated with an abandoned custom order, subject to the terms agreed for that commission and applicable law.

12. Final Sale

Unless otherwise stated for a particular product, custom, personalized, made-to-measure, and made-to-order WOREDOX merchandise is Final Sale after production begins, subject to this policy and applicable consumer-protection laws.

We encourage customers to contact us with questions about measurements, colors, customization, production time, or specifications before confirming an order and paying the 70% advance.
